net use - Phantom Mapped Network Drive Letter From Windows

Drive not showing in File Explorer after "net use" command Drive not showing in File Explorer after “net use” command. Ask Question Asked 6 years, 10 months ago. Active 3 years, 1 month ago. Viewed 18k times 7. 2. I am running Windows 8 64bit and running Hyper-V VM's. On my host machine I want to map a drive to the VM using the following command. net use * \\10.10.18.104\c$ Drive Y: is now net use command & “My Computer” net use command & “My Computer” Mounts (maps) network drives Example: net use f: \\neelix\ITEC110 net use (no parameters) displays current mounts NET USE LPTx /PERSISTENT:Y command won't stick - Microsoft Under Windows XP, the net use command with /persistent option sticks forever but Windows 7 keeps losing the mapping. Does anyone know how to fix it? This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. windows - Stop a network drive from automatically mapping

What do 'REM' and '/persistent:no' mean in Windows Server

I have a network drive that I have mapped as a drive on my toshiba nb205 notebook. It works fine with one exception, boot-up time. When the notebook is booted it can never connect to the mapped drive, if I manually open the drive it will then connect and be fine. Permanently mount network share without the need for log net use x: \\PathToDrive or share /persistent:yes; It should show as a disconnected drive and to automount it just create a startup script with step 5 in it. You will have to use steps 1 - 5 to delete the mapping just change 5 to reflect net use x: /delete [SOLVED] net use asking for password - Windows Forum Nov 03, 2011 Windows 10 Does Not Reconnect Mapped Network Drives [Fix]
